If you search "Craftsman Professional Use", they've listed 15 different Craftsman Industrial sets at discounted prices.

They have a bunch of sets of Deep Offset Box, Black Oxide, Stubbies, Ratcheting, Cross Force, Raised Panel, and Ignition Wrenches. Fifteen different sets in all, plus a three sets of Impact Sockets, and 1/2 Drive Accessory sets. All Industrial, All Made in the USA.

Worth a look, for the ******** craftsman made in the USA guy. I'm sure these are get 'um while they got 'um type of sets. Once they are gone, then gone forever. If you have the coin to spend (most sets between $100-$200), now is the time to get them. They are all on sale, but not "Hot Buy", so you may be able to get some coupon codes to work for further price reduction.

That isnt exactly cheap. Years ago I bought a set of kobalt ones at lowes for like 40/set. thinkt hey go up to 1.5" SAE and 27MM metric maybe?

I have all but five of those sizes in the Cman Industrial already. At $250, that would average out at $50 per needed wrench to complete my set, with the exception of getting a few extra of the other sizes that I don't need. I could ebay the rest, but find that to be a hassle. It's tempting but will probably pass. Too bad I don't have a bunch of rewards points! Hmmm...Thanks OP!

Unfortunately that's exactly where my GW collection stops. I would love to find some reasonably priced full polish wrenches up to 2".

Not my pick but exactly what I got. Who knows the set you posted might one day go on sale or be sent to the outlets stores. You never know with Sears they aren't doing to good at the moment.

same wrench with different names and part numbers stamped on the beams. I have a mix match set of both the last pro's they sold, the older SK made pro's and these. They are different from the old sk made pro's but not the Armstrong made ones.

It was such a great deal that it was hard not to become addicted to grabbing a set or two each week that I went to the Outlets during that clearance period. I also figured I could always warranty them myself out of my own stock if I ever broke one!

Yea I remember it was nuts, I originally purchased a 10 or 11 pc set then returned it because it was going for 58 dollars and got the 14 pic set cheaper. They had so many sets. I would go back week after week and see the stock dwindle and the prices go down more. Eventually a month or so later it was all gone. The stuff they have on clearance now is mostly ****.

If you do any plumbing around your house, the larger SAW wrenches come in handy. 1-1/2 is used for trailer hitch balls.

But they are rarely needed.... one large adjustable wrench tends to cover the few times you really need something that big.

I kind of want them just to complete the set and make them look nice on the wall, but I can't spend $250 for that... too many better tools to buy for the money

Not everybody is in the automotive field.

trucks, agriculture, manufacturing.....all use large (and larger!) fasteners

I received my set earlier this week and am very please with them. Only complaint is I wished they didn't say "Industrial" on them so they better matched the rest of my wrenches!

Not everybody is in the automotive field.

I used a 1-1/8 wrench last week to change out a wire wheel on my bench grinder. An adjustable wrench or pliers could have worked to hold one nut while I ratcheted on the nut on the other end of the arbor, but I felt a lot safer reaching across those pointy wires knowing I had a firm grip with the box end.

I am tempted to grab a set. I filled in most of my larger wrenches with some full polish wrenches from KD which I could probably sell to recoup some of my money. I use 1-1/4 occasionally. I can't say I have ever needed 1-1/2" though.

Gave in and bought this- had $14.39 in points, and $55 in gift cards, so I didn't do too bad. Should be able to sell off some of the duplicates I've got as well. This was cheaper than filling in the missing wrenches.

I am, however, totally dismayed that I missed out on the big, USA-$44 a 14-piece set blowout at Sears Outlets two years ago. That really bums me out. I'm not so stuck on Craftsman tools, but on quality American-made tools. But I finally assembled a relatively inexpensive set from local Sears blowouts (wrenches marked down 25% to 50% and then getting them on a day when clearanced items are another 50% or more off.) that are all Craftsman Pro or Industrial, all US-made. The larger sizes are Armstrong and Allen USA.

You are mixing the ability to warranty with durability. There is nothing to suggest you will not get durable long use out of these wrenches.

I wrenched for close to 20 years on aircraft with both Craftsman raised panel and Professional wrenches and never had to warranty a single one.

People fixate to much on warranty and the 0.001% chance you may have a warranty issue and may have a mismatched set.

the other fact, every time I ordered a loose craftsman pro wrench I was shipped old stock, some where even from the sk area so I wouldn't worry about it too much for at least a few years still.
