I've had several of these wrenches (with regular Craftsman marking) for a couple of years, and they've become some of my favorites. Well made in USA and they work great.

I picked up a set of eight SAE (from 5/16 to 3/4) yesterday at a Sears Outlet for $52.95, including that *very* nice made-in-USA tool roll as well. Great deal. I almost bought two, but heck, I really don't need more!

At $6.60 per wrench, including roll, they're a steal.
i finally got a set from cman, 20 for 60$. they are nice, i bought then as problem solvers and do not use them daily, they have been worth it at that price. the set has a few i will never use but its not a deal brkr

Well, I received my replacement wrenches from Apex today and the 3/4" has the same casting flaws as the one it was replacing, oh well!

The more frustrating issue, the 18mm wrench that was more the issue for calling Apex in the first place was sent incorrect. Instead of the Craftsman Industrial part #24640 reversible wrench, they sent a plain Craftsman (Professional?) part #42576 flat (zero offset) flip over ratcheting wrench, and it appears to be long pattern. It's a very nice quality wrench and similar to the CI long pattern combination wrenches. Anyway, doesn't correct my issue, but no plans to re-call Apex for another replacement. Too much trouble just to correct the extreme offset on the original wrench.

The new 18mm wrench and the one it was replacing:

Here's my Craftsman Industrial Full Polish Ratcheting wrench collection thus far. I still need to pick up the 9mm and the whole set of flex locking in MM, but they are quite expensive on Grainger.

Can anyone order online from Graingers, or do you have to have a business license? I know that in the past they didn't sell to the general public, just businesses. Just wondering if that's still the case?

Anyone can order from Grainger, I've purchased a few Craftsman Industrial wrenches from them, just know that sometimes they have COO as Taiwan when it's really USA....at least when it comes to Craftsman Industrial wrenches.
