Adverse weather for my order too..... in freaking PHOENIX!

Guess the UPS driver found a 2for1 sale on Hawaiian Tropic and is working on his tan on the roof of the truck!

Apologies to the OP if this considered highjacking the thread with this question.
To complete the set, Grainger has this. Does a COO of Taiwan sound right?
I called Grainger and they have no other info.

I've heard that Grainger's website was not correct with the COO for these wrenches.

I'm really debating on whether to pull the trigger on the cross force wrenches....I'm just a DYI'er so I'm not sure if I need them, but they would look good with the rest of my Industrial wrenches!!

I was wondering the same.

I'm on the fence for the cross force wrenches myself. They had full sets of Industrial Cross Forces wrenches in roll up pouches for something like $99, a full range with about 13 pieces or so. That was a steal, but I passed on it back then. That was last year. They had full Metric sets and full Inch sets. Under the "Professional Use" name on the website.

Gosh, now that I do the math. Putting together a set of open stock Cross Forces might actually be cheaper than the sets they has last year....

Just pulled the trigger on a set of 12 Metric Industrial Cross Forces: 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24.

Stacked four coupons for a total of $10 off and $30 points for future purchase (plus $1.57 base points).

$5 off $35
$5 off $50
$10 extra points on $50 purchase
$20 extra points on $75 purchase

Bottom line of $78.27 before tax. Plus $31.57 worth of points for future purchase.

Effectively bringing the 12 piece Cross Force set down to $46.70!

I couldn't help but pull the trigger on that.

Yes, there is. I've got all 13 in my cart, just not sure I want them. The cross force wrenches came in 13 piece sets. I think my hesitation is that they only have 10 standard cross force wrenches on the site and so it wouldn't be a complete set like the metric.

Okay. I see what happened. I was sorting by "date added" to get all the Craftsman Industrial. The 22 was added on January 20th, and the others were added on February 12th. So the 22 was burred several pages back on the search results.

It turns out I got $41.57 worth of points from the 12 I purchased! So, I just ordered the single 22 as a freebee! So a Baker's Dozen for me now.

I think you can also stack in the Save15 code, to get $15 off instead of the $5+$5 I did, for an extra $5 compared to my stacking. Because I think if you put the Save15 in, it might invalidate the $5+$5, but not sure.

I don't really use Inch tools, and already have a full set of regular full polish Industrials in Inch. So I'm just getting Metric stuff this time around on the Industrial deals.

I figured I'd pull the trigger now, before some of the singles go out of stock. Because if I can't get the full set, and it had a bunch of missing holes, I'd probably pass on the Cross Force.

When they sold the full 13 piece set in a rolled pouch, it got down to a low of either $99 or $109, or something like that. So the individuals are cheaper, plus when they had the set, there weren't any coupon codes to stack in there at the time.

@EdJack thats a great deal you'd be a fool to not have ordered it. it was twice you paid last year as you mentioned. i didn't know about this one:
$20 extra points on $75 purchase

I had that in an email, that I clicked to add to my SYWR account. So it might have been a targeted thing tied to my account or something. I actually got over $41 worth of points. So almost half the money back again in points.

I'm surprised it even let me stack the coupons that way. Usually, they start voiding each other out, and only give you one of each type, and defaulting to the highest one, but not adding all together.

I get paid next Friday and if the cross force wrenches are still available I'll buy them, if not, no harm done as I still have the regular Craftsman Industrial wrenches, ratcheting wrenches and flex ratcheting!

Picked up my 26mm at Sears today. I believe on future orders I'm going to skip the free store pick up and start paying for direct shipping to my home. Fortunately, Sears gives tracking info and showed that the wrench was delivered to my store yesterday at 10:30 am. After waiting a whole day for an email stating it was ready for pick up, I decided to just print out the tracking info and go get it. The guy that helped me checked and said it didn't show in there system yet. When I showed him my tracking info and he saw his name on it as the receiver that signed for it, he quickly went on a mission to find it!

Same thing happened a few weeks ago. I ordered an odd size Cman Pro screwdriver and waited a whole week after seeing tracking info showing "delivered". After the week of waiting, I thought "screw it", I'm going in there without the email. After 45 minutes of searching and getting a manager involved, they finally found it in the wrong bin. Would probably still be sitting in that wrong bin today had I not gone in and forced them to search for it!

Just a heads up, I went ahead and ordered this from ebay:

9 piece craftsman industrial Sae set

It sold out last night and I kicked myself for not getting it. Luckily 4 more were added tonight. Not as good a deal as sears, but to complete the industrial wrench theme in sae I couldn't find this set cheaper anywhere. grainger has it for ($82 + shipping).

Your link isn't working for me, but if it's the full polished, it's a good set. I picked up the same set right at the end of the Sears Outlet clearance for $20. It was actually all my outlet had left on the shelf by the end. I didn't need, as I already had two 14 pc sets in both sae and metric. It's this 9pc set that I'm adding to now with this clearance to convert to a 14-16pc set. I still don't need, but I feel these wrenches are going to be a really hot commodity some day, but who knows? :dunno:

Looks like Sears is clearing out the Industrial stock. The prices have been lowered BIG TIME!!!! Just do a search for open stock wrenches, and sort low to high. I provided a link as well. More metric that sae and looks like you can just about piece together a black oxide set and almost a metric full polish set.
I just bought 12 wrenches for $32

thanks, I just got 7mm- 23 mm (Skips the 22, couldn't find one) in the black oxide.
Pick up in store, total cost, $45.48.
Pretty good I thought.

Got a few large SAE full polish wrenches to fill out a set, and some metrics to have as spares. Also got the 10/11mm box and 21/23 box wrenches and a few 3/4" drive sockets. Shipping was super quick, ordered Thursday and it was here Friday afternoon. As usual with sears everything was just thrown into a flimsy box with a couple air pillows, unlike past shipments however, this one arrived with no gaping holes in the box and my whole order was complete.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal! Now I need to try and redo the wrench drawer in my box to make it all fit.

22 mm is usually skipped in a full set anyways, is it not?

Thanks for the link OP

Duometric socket sets commonly include either a 7/8" or a 22mm, but not both. They are within 9 thousandths of an inch of being the same.

Received my order yesterday, nice wrench's. I put in another order for the black oxide set, too good a deal to pass up. If anyone has a extra 1-1/16"combo, I would be happy to buy it. Thanks again OP.

man, how i hate sears sometimes. i've done 4 orders - this and the 3/4" sockets - and they've all been cancelled.

wondering: has anyone been able to put more than 25 items in a shopping cart at once?

25 is about the max sears cart size. you can save some for the next order by clicking save for later when they are in cart, to free up cart space for items you want first.

Looks like sears updated the listings, they all have the "professional use" tag in the name now.

Sorry no pics, but my full polish 13/16 and 7/8 wrenches came in today. Confirming both are USA Industrial. It augments my 1/4 - 3/4 set purchased last year. Thanks, OP.

Funny thing is, I had them shipped-to-store, and the attendant brought them out and said, "So sorry, these are the right sizes but the part numbers don't match the sales slip." I think he was bracing for dealing with a disappointed/mad customer. I said, "Hey, man, no problem," and walked out with a smile.

I just ordered a bunch of 1/2" deep impacts. Hopefully they ship to the store without issues. BTW if anyone was able to get a spare 3/4" or 19mm 1/2" deep industrial impact I would be interested in buying them!
