Craftsman Industrial Stubbies

I'm thinking about picking these up:

I don't have a daily need for stubby combo wrenches, but there has been more than a few times when I really wish I had some and this looks like a pretty sweet deal on a USA made set of flex ratcheting stubbies. Anyone have any personal experiences with these? Also, any clue what state/city these might be made in?

No idea where in the US these are made but I'd say that they are worth the price if you need them for daily use - see if you can find a discount coupon to bring the price down since you said you probably won't need to use them daily.

I got both SAE and metric sets of these from the clearance rack at our sears for $50 each a few years back. They are nice and definitely feature packed (stubby/flex/locking). However, I have only needed them one time unfortunately. You may have more uses than me though. I typically just grab my regular non-ratcheting stubbies when I need one. Very nice wrenches though.

I too bought both sets of the stubbies years ago I think on Ebay pretty cheap and like the others have mentioned, hardly ever use them. Also have the same style in regular length as well that I don't use much. Prefer these reversible style Craftsman wrenches: http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-New-Craftsman-SAE-Reversible-Ratchet-Combination-Wrench-Set-/231518805258 as they are much slimmer and get into tighter spaces.

Thank you all for your responses. As much as I like these stubby wrenches, I can live without them for the time being. I'm gonna keep an eye on them though - my gut is telling me that Sears is looking to unload their existing stock of these (discontinued?) wrenches, and the price could drop significantly in the coming months. I grabbed both 1/2" and 3/8" Craftsman Industrial roundhead ratchets a few weeks ago from sears.com for around $9 each, and they are dynamite. Not the same as the awesome old style my dad had but they are very nice, simple ratchets nonetheless. It seems logical to me that if stuff from the Craftsman Industrial catalog isn't moving off the shelves fast enough (or is discontinued), it gets moved over to sears.com at a significant discount. Anyone have any thoughts on this theory? That being said, if the price of these stubbies drops a little bit, I'll snag them up. Again, I appreciate all of your comments and look forward to becoming a more frequent participant on this forum!
