Craftsman King Seeley DP "Vari-slo"

Just picked this up today.
Just found your site today.

I had never seen this "Vari-slo" option before. Trying to identify the year but not finding anything with the Vari-slo option.

Looks like I'm missing the speed gauge from the front.

Model #103.23130

Paid $50. I'll enjoy cleaning it up.

Would welcome any thoughts or opinions.

I'm also wondering if there's anyone who specializes in revitalizing the old badging on these machines.

As for the price? Your very first post here has earned you a "You ****" from the jealous mobs! The Varislow option is worth $200+ by iteself!

Yup, that deserves a YOU ****! (That's a good thing, BTW)

Just a note on the Vari-Slo - adjust the speed ONLY when the drill press is running, or damage to the Vari-Slo is very likely.

I got a varislow without the pulleys and the arm just wonder if i should remove it looks to be in the way of my belt or should i try to find the parts? which i doubt ill find

Technically you can still run it but it will be in the way. You should just remove it and maybe sell it for parts?
