Sears' tool deal of the day is the Craftsman Lift N Secure Jack System, for $99.97.

The price is a bit surprising given that the product is relatively new. Maybe it could be related to the overall mediocre reviews.

Anyways, it ships free because the order is >$99, and its full retail price is $300.

I love how they put products up for specials that have crappy reviews. What are they thinking when they list it at $100 when lots of reviews say it's not worth $100?

That being said--I still want one.

Yeah, I notice their Deal of the Day is usually a huge loser product. Probably trying to dump them.

I loved how they put up the mechanics gloves that are not in stock at any nearby store. And not available for shipping. Pretty useless at that point, and further proof they might just be using the Deal to clear out stuff no one wants.

that's a sweet deal. When that first came out, I was really interested, but the reviews are so bad.

Its not that the reviews are just bad, its bad product and no support. The idea seems like a good one, too bad it was executed poorly.

I have this jack system. Most of the complaints are from people that for some reason haven't read the user manual (it's not a very big one, only a few pages). Complaints are about things like "the jack scratches my floor because it doesn't have wheels in the front." Or, the "the jack isn't a low profile system as it says and doesn't get under my car". The jack works like a hand truck. It only has wheels in the back because you use it to pick up and carry the individual jacks into place. It is no more difficult to maneuver than a typical hand truck. There is a position you put the handle in when maneuvering the jack around and this is clearly outlined in manual. The minimum clearance of the system is clearly stated on the Sears website as 6.5" and the same is listed on the front of the box. I'm not sure why you would take your time to write a review but not take the same amount of time to read a manual.

I, like many people put off buying this jack because about a 1/3 of the reviews were negative. When the price dropped down to $99 and with a 90 day return policy I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. I'm glad I did because I think most of the complaints are unwarranted.

Long time lurker..
I found a brand new set in NJ CL!
Had a hell of a time convincing the guy I was not a scammer. Both of us are the highest level Paypal users and he still did a private sale though eBay.
I love the thing. Lifts my F250 Diesel perfect.
