If you aren't confident in your brush work, you can use a sponge/foam dipped in the paint. Get a few different textures and experiment until you get the right sponge to do the job. I expect that you'd want something soft with a tight cell.

Bought a CM box one time just to get the emblem. Flip side said Waterloo.

His bride has a sentimental attachment.
Logic has nothing to do with it.
This is the “wife” now. Thanks for understanding PugetDude. I lost both my parents to colon cancer three years apart at age 11 and 15 and never got any sentimental items to cling too. Now this was just something that I received that belonged to someone else that was very special to me (not my parents) but I do have a hard time with sentimental items.
