I have the 1/2" ib ft torque wrench and the 3/8" lb in torque wrench and love them both. They dont get very good reviews, everyone says the lock breaks. I take very good care of mine and theyve been great so far!

there seem to be a lot of bad reviews on the site and i've seen the same thing by lots of GJ members, might pay to search the forums to make an informed purchase or informed non purchase as the case may be

I'm not sure if ppl report which versions is bad, black collar (USA made) or red collar (China made).

I have both (1/2" and 3/8") but I don't see how you can break it by turning it lock and unlock, unless it's abused or accidentally drop it.

I agree 100%! Mine have also been great. No problems whatsoever.

Owned both 1/2 and 3/8, both have broke, I dislike using them so much I didn't even warranty them. USA made, black ring, late 90's early 2000's purchase.

that's a totally different one than these. those were the "micro-tork" models that were made in USA. These are made in China "micro-clicker" models... and from the reviews seem to be even worse than the older "micro-tork" ones...

What's broken about yours? I have the 1/2" (up to 150ft-lbs) got it in 2000 and it still work well.

I even used it to rebuild an engine.
