Craftsman Middle Toolbox

Does anyone have this middle Craftsman toolbox? I am wondering if the Hansen socket trays will fit in them? And how many would fit in the bottom draw?

What size drive trays did you want to put in the bottom drawer?

I have the 4 drawer griplatch and the bottom drawer is too short for the 3/8 hansons which require 3 in.

I am wanting to put 1/2 and 3/8 and possibly 1/4 all in the bottom drawer but I don't know if they would all fit.

Not sure if you are dead set on that model, but I saw the two drawer version of that middle box on sale before christmas for only $40. You could buy two of them and still be money ahead.

It appears to be the same specs as most of the rest of the 3-drawer mid-boxes.

The bottom drawer, being the tallest, it's going to be a tight squeeze WITHOUT Hansen trays.

I used to have my 1/2" stuff in one of those, on the metal spring-clip rails, and I had to tilt them towards the back to be able to open/close the drawer.

Just measured, interior height of the drawer is about 3.5".

Interior or exterior measurement?
