Outlet has a Load of 12" for 129 with 1 year warranty. I cant even find a clist special that's not wore out for 150.

I have a Craftsman miter saw I bought in 2003. The 0° detent isn't quite square, so it takes a lot of fiddling to make it cut boards square enough for cabinetry.

That's not goood. Did it wear out or is it machined wrong? I do wood floors and stairs. Has to be accurate for thresholds and cabinet cuts

It started off okay but it got worse.

But this was a ten-inch 315.212500 saw from a dozen years ago. What you're seeing on sale is a different model.

I bought a CM about three years ago. The only problem I've had with it is that it is still in the box. :bounce:

My setback now is a 12 inch is only good for 5 1/2 inches for deminsional lumber on a 45. I need to cut real 6" so I may be looking into a slider afterall

Avoid Craftsman power tools..... buy a (Makita, Dewalt, Ridgid, Mil,) slider if possible.
