hello all rebuilding an old craftsman motor. having a problem the thermo reset switch is broke. ..Its a klixon type C75. only numbers i can find ! the motor is a 1/2 hp. single phase. 120volt. 6.2 amp... does anyone know of a replacement number or can give some advice as to what i need. thanks

I had a similar problem with a Baldor and was advised to push until my thumb turned blue and it did finally reset. Try that first. I just checked and Klixon zeems to be alive and well and showing hundreds of switches. If the C 75 is no longer made there is probably a replacement. Give them a call

hello yes i found there web site. the switch in mine got hot and cracked. also they have a cross reffrence for the old numbers,thanks

I have no idea but this one was replaced, based on the brand and part number marked on the switch in question. He was lucky to be able to identify it.
