My local Mall anchor Sears store is history now but last October when I went to get a 5 drawer lower tool cabinet they had piles of them in a bin as you walked in tool section

For some crazy reason I was thinking they were only $8.00 then :dunno:

I had it and used it for a few years. Until Sears cleared out all the Fluke products, and picked up a nice Fluke 115 multimeter for less than 30 bucks after clearance price and points.

The Craftsman one served its purpose for a few years, and replaced a Harbor Freight multimeter before it.

So I guess I'm stepping up in the multimeter world...

Went from Harbor Freight --> to Craftsman --> to Fluke.

That is a good meter. The only drawback I found was the auto off feature if you were doing a parasitic draw test. If there is a way to override it I couldn’t find it.

Yeah, they are pretty regularly priced at $9.99, my hometown store has a few on the shelf. When I have nothing else to buy one of these days I might get one for a friend.
