Cool, what's the item number for the drill/light combo? And am I the only one who has troubles loading the Sears page and cart? (That's why I'm not searching Sears' site right now)

If you are clicking on the link in this thread, or from any GJ thread directly into the Sears page, it often won't load completely for some reason. I've found the best thing to do is to find the page on Sears' site on my own outside of GJ. I have no idea why this is, but if I want to order, this is the way I have to do it. Hope this makes sense and I've explained correctly?

Edit: use "Craftsman 7245" if looking on their site directly. This may not even end up being a Deal of the Day. Just going off what I see on their deals page today.

So I ordered one for store pick-up plus a few other tools I needed early the morning the deal first came out. Got a call from the store at around noon stating that they had none in stock, but before I ordered they showed 4 in stock. I said OK, well see if any other store local has them, I will be in around 2-3 to pick them up. Got to the store and they still had none, had to go down to tools to get a refund on it. When I got home I got online to order 2 for shipping, and Sears canceled my order. Love it when they decide they no longer have something available after I order.

thanks for the heads up. Do you know how much torque one has over the other? if the price is right I will order the pair.

Looks like the light/drill combo is only reduced from $79.99 down to $49.99. Not a great deal compared to what we've been seeing with the previous Nextec deals.

Hmm, comes up as $49.99 for me right now, shows an alleged $30 savings off regular price of $79.99. Not bad but maybe this isn't their "deal of the day" price, if it's even going to be the DOD at all. If you figure you want a another $29.99 deal for the drill, and the light is regular retail at $15, that's $45. Looks like the kit only has one battery.

edit: damnit, looks like I posted just a few seconds after you.

Yeah, that page says Deal of the Day and expiring 6/24/13. I guess we've been spoiled with the great Nextec deals! Oh well!

The only coupon codes I've found are $5 off $25, and $10 off $50, but I've never been able to get them to work on DOD's.

Not sure what I will do. I might just sit this deal out and buy the better drill with a coupon code later on. I plan to get the other flashlight this weekend. I dont need two 12 volt drills.

I'll definitely be sitting this one out. I already have three of the C3 drills w/lithium batteries. Two of them are the compact drills that I really like a lot. If this were a "too good to pass up" deal, I still think I'd pass.

I was at searsoutlet.com and it had something about 5% off for June, code was something like June5. I'd go there now if the searsoutlet site didn't seem to lock up my computer or somehow disrupt my connection every time I tried. Also not sure the code works at plain ol' sears.com. A lot of work for 5%.

Anyone's order still stuck in processing? I couldn't do store pickup since none had any in stock. Order say's it's processing and gives no forecast date of when it'll be shipped. Sounds like it might get cancelled.

No, I picked mine up already, but my store had two in stock at time of order. You may want to call Sears and see if they can research your order. Hopefully they are just waiting for more to arrive into stock before continuing with your order.

Yep, Sears is crazy unpredictable like a super hot girlfriend. The right angle impact driver went from $30 for the kit to $100 for the kit to $60 for the tool only back to $30 for the kit and now who knows. Bottom line, you've gotta jump on these deals as they might last a day or a year.

Sears responded and said mine was indeed still processing (I'm guessing awaiting stock) and it has a delivery date of 7/9/13. At least it's still going through!
