Craftsman numbers

I understand by looking for numbers of power tools, I can find out who made them. I.E. 113.00000 emerson and so forth. What if the only numbers I Have are 0093495000 for item no. and ZJQ4116D for the model. I have the numbers, just for this model I cant find the first three with a period. Any ideas? Thanks Dave

Those dont even sound like Craftsman numbers, unless it's the new Chinese numbering system. What kind of tool is it?

Those are 2 different ind of numbers.

The 113.nnnnnn number is a model number. The first 3 digits do tell the manufacturer and somewhere on GJ there is a table.

The second number is a new style stock number. The first 3 digits are the department number (9 is hardware, 30 is paint, 34 electrical, 6 sporting goods, 28 auto ... I can't remember any more from 40+ yrars ago) and the last 2 digits.

The old style would have been 9-34950

You need to dig more, the number is 124.34985

It is from the manual for the numbers you posted

The 124 prefix is a newer number and is most likely an Asian manufacturer

113 is Emerson from 1948-64, after that til I think '98 it is King Sealey.

sselander provided the manual & OEM number of 124.

There are several holes in the various OEM Code references available.
