Craftsman OBD scanners

I was over at Sears today picking up a pair of Knipex mini bolt cutters since I missed the boat all the Lowes stores nearby and happened to see that they had a fairly appealing line of OBD scanners on the shelf... Has anyone here bought one of the Craftsman OBD scanners? Happy with it? I've been thinking about picking one up and they look a little nicer than the cheapie ones at HF or the auto parts stores. Thanks!

I've noticed that too. I looked at one that did ABS as well. I haven't tried one yet.

I bought the little black one for 30 bucks. Im happy with it. I dont have incredibly high standards though.

They had some inovas for a while relabeled as bluepoint also.

I've got 2 innova/ equus they are very nice and decently priced when you consider the features. You may do better by an innova that hasn't got a craftsman sticker

I do have a 3160 and have been very happy with it. Gives me more than enough info that I need and has served me well.

you cab get the innovas on ebay brand new much cheaper than what sears is selling them for. sometimes less than half.

I have two craftsman scanners.They are ok. I bought them both from Craigs list. One has the obd1 kit for older cars. Neither of them has abs brake ability.
they both have live data function and can read and erase codes.

I recommend the Innova 3160 as my local Oreillys uses it and it has abs and live data. A few weeks back I started a thread about using an obd to computer cable and software to use a laptop as a code reader/scan tool. There are several softwares availible free and the cable doesn't cost much.
