Hi.

No Sears stuff in the UK

Sears website won't ship to the UK.

I checked eBay but as said the shipping costs are outrageous

Hi,

I'm after one of the following:

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-universal-oil-filter-wrench-auto-adjustable/p-02820523000P

I have both of the Lisle spring loaded type but i NEED one of these.

Now the tricky part, anyone know how/where i can buy one outside the US ?

As you can see they are really cheap, made in the USA but i can't find one in the UK and ebay postage is double the cost of the tool :dunno:

Would a
HAZET 2172 OIL FILTER WRENCH
sourced locally be an option?

from PJNJ's 2nd link.

Good Luck

Thanks for the input folks.

I'm very much after a made in US version of a 3 leg claw.

As far as i know the rest on amazon etc are all china. The hazet is German but it's £60 :shocking: The craftsman is like $20

I have one of the craftsman ones, and its honestly not great. I avoid using it when any of my other tools will do the job. The jaws are kind of awkward and slip sometimes.

The shipping cost on something like that is probably going to be not far off from the Hazet. I sent some boxes of kraft macaroni and cheese to my friend in London (cause it was her favourite missed comfort food), and it was nearly 50 dollars to send 6 boxes of the stuff when the 6 boxes only cost like 4 bucks!

I've been using mine for about 3 years profesionally & been happy with it. I did have to warranty it once which would be a problem for you. Maybe order 2 if the shipping didn't increase too much. Then again if it's for home use you shouldn't have any issues.

I'll sell you a new one in packaging. I've got 2 and forgot to return the second one. PM me with shipping so I can get a quote if you're still interested.
