Not really a super hot deal, but I think I've figured out what Sears is doing here... I don't have these, saw them on the shelf at Sears Hardware where I was picking up some more socket rails, and had an almost Pavlovian response. Made in USA? Not laser etched? and ON SALE? out with me they went. Well at least now I can retire my grandfather's Sherman-Klove set and stop carrying it around with me and worrying about something happening to it.

are also Made in USA which makes me happy as they're my current favorite, not least because you can get additional studs for them although none of my local stores stock them. Also available in black ("SAE") and grey ("Metric") colors which is nice for organizing, although I keep the two in separate drawers.

Edit: Now I guess I need *more* socket organizational stuff.
