Got this mounted on a stand with working, but old motor and spins smoothly. Saw the red paint and just thought somebody used a old gearbox for a sander. Then looked closer n found a heritage badge on the sander plate. Making me ask...did someone just use a craftsman sander plate on the homebrew gearbox? Or is this some oddball old craftsman assembly I've never seen before. Anyone seen o e like this in an old catalog or something?
