A couple of people have asked me to give a heads-up when I found a good ball bearing chest/cabinet sale. So, here it is.

Craftsman & Garage Storage Sale - 30-35% Off Details

A lot of Craftsman units are 30%-off. Some are 36%-off. A few are 15%-off. Other brands' are discounted by about 15%, some have better discounts, some have lower. But this is the hottest Craftsman tool storage sale in a while that I can remember, with the exception of 50%-select doorbusters and the such.

The sale officially says "up to 30%-off", but a lot of the Cman units are stacking with another discount. 25%-off plus 15%-off = 36.25%-off, which is what I'm seeing on a lot of units right now.

Warning: I have no idea when the deal will end or prices will change. The sale details say 15% ends 12/13, but it *might* be renewed, hard to predict.

This Pro one seems like a decent box, 200# per drawer, is that real? That seems really nicely built.

$670 for top and bottom 36", anyone have one of these? Made in USA? How about gauge of the steel? I just bought a 56" but it's too long, this one looks pretty damn good just going by the specs.

Edit just realized that is JUST the top chest. Bummer. OK so out of my price range for a Craftsman box but looks like a good chest FWIW.

That's one of the deals that made me do a double take. Delivery fees aren't too bad either. But bear in mind, that's just the top chest. That's one of the ones that's 36.25% off. I'm guessing it drops to a 25% discount tomorrow night.

Wish I could check one out in person. Don't think I've seen any of the 36" ones in-store.

That $900 already reflects the extra 15%.

$1400 X 25%-off = $1050. 15% off that = $892.50. Total savings = 25%= 15% = 36.25%. (0.75 x 0.85 = 0.6375 = 36.25% discount)
