Well I have been busy redoing this planer just about ready to do some painting. Here are some pics for your enjoyment.

ok looks rough in the first pic, then some majorly cleaned/polished parts.

What/how did you get them to that state ?

Just some elbow grease with a wire wheel and scotchbrite pads.

looks similarly ugly as mine.. The damned grease/oil filled gearboxes sure do make a mess..
