Im in love with these plastic rails that come in a 3 piece set, only problem is finding 1/2 studs. I bought out all the packets from the local sears, and checked online and no one around me has any and its not available for shipping, does anyone know where to get these? Im looking for around 50 total. Thank you!

Honestly your probably better off just buying more sets. Those are a ***** to find and its really not alot more money to buy the sets. I could be wrong but i thought it. Was $4 for 5 studs so you'd spend $40 vs buying 6 more sets for $13 so $80. Its only 40 bucks to save time and hassle to track em down plus then you'll have extra rails and extra 1/4 and 3/8 for future if you lose or break em. Plus you'd have to pay shipping and wait vs picking em up for free whenever you want

thats what I did too and I had a bunch as well. I ended up using most though. Impacts, all my bit sockets(hex, torx, etorx, torx+,screwdriver) most bits are1/4 and 3/8 as well. Then I got swivel sockets. But I guess it just depends on if you have or plan on getting them in future. The studs by themselves are a pain to get though.

By the way if you have issues storing em what I did was cut all the rails down in half or whatever length you want and melt the end to keep the pegs on. I hated having long *** rails to store and hated having long rails only 1/2 full of sockets. Just something I saw someone do that I thought was cool and worked out for me.

Matco sells them in varying lengths. You can also
Buy the pegs. The rails are typically sold without pegs. I believe that you can order them online.

The matco plastic rails look identical on the site, do you know if the pegs will work on the craftsman racks?

I have never actually tried to put a peg from a matco on to a craftsman rail but they appear identical when I saw them at sears. The harbor freight socket rails feel like cheaper plastic compared to the craftsman/matco rails.

They'll restock them It may take a couple weeks but they'll be back.

A couple months ago I thought Sears discontinued them so I went around buying the last few packets I could find.

A couple weeks later they're fully restocked. I was just there last weekend and they still had at least 8-9 on the shelf.

franklee just make me an offer, they are just take up space. And I bought the HF version, the pegs do not interchange, and they dont hold the sockets nearly as well, and when you load them down with 1/2 impact deep sockets they flex to much for my liking.

I purchase the HF and rob the pegs to put on my craftsman rails. The pegs are exactly the same as craftsman.
As said above the HF rails are to flimsy.

I tried the HF rails, seem to be made of harder/brittle plastic. They also slide around on rail too easy.

You are AWESOME! I've been looking for an affordable option for different length rails. I'm definitely buying some of these!

I find the pegs on the HF rails extremely difficult to use with slightly rusty sockets. I have had to break off a number of HF pegs and then pry the damn plastic piece out of my socket. The Cman ones seem a lot nicer to me, and if you can get them on sale I feel they are worth the extra money spent.

The Craftsman ones are made by VIM as are the Wright ones sold by Epsteins. You can also get the same rails branded Kobalt from cripe distributing on Ebay.

Next time I'm in Sears I'll look but if I am not mistaken the new Kobalt rails (aluminum rails with plastic pegs) could be a match for pegs.

I swapped the pegs off of the Kobalt plastic rails that may match the plastic Craftsman rails you are referring to.

The aluminum rails are a little shorter but you can slide pegs on both sides. Handy if you have the shallow depth drawers and you lay the socket rails flat.

Here is a link to the 1/2" Kobalt rails:
