The first 3 digits of the model number are code for who the manufacturer was. then you should be able to find out a lot on the OWWM and OMWM sites.
Many Craftsman (and others) came without motors or stands. For some tools, the stands are worth WAY more than the tools. That said, if there was a stand especially for your saw, it is probably available out there.
I know of several threads on Practical Machinist where people have sung praises of their power hacksaws (although the smaller hobbyist stuff is generally banned there.)
