After a quick search I see there is little to no documentation on these so I thought I would make a thread for them. Anyone is welcome to contribute what they have on these machines.

I already posted the coming home pics over in the Heritage thread so I'll just post the manual pic and part number badge for now. Going to put it back together tomorrow and I'll have some more pics then.

First pics of it back together. I guess it's not really back together just one bolt holding each piece. At least now I can move around in the garage. Notice the long C pulleys. Manual calls for a 100" belt to use the main sliding motor on the DP. Easy to see why they got a separate motor for it. If I want to set it back to stock I will need a two spindle motor I suppose. I do have a 1/2 hp craftsman that could work.

Current plan is just to clean everything up and see how it looks. First up is the ugly dp table extension.

What part of Colorado are you from? I am in Colorado Springs area. Very nice Setup on your machines. I have never seen one like that before. If you go to restoring it, here is some good sites.

Old Wood Working Machines
www.owwm.org

Vintage Machinery Site for manuals and history
www.vintagemachinery.org

If you could upload your finds on the Vintage Machinery Site. 1st site mention, a lot of fine folks with knowledge in restorations. The other site would appreciate if you could download the manuals or info you have on this machine and pictures of course. They would be a nice addition I can tell you that. Look forward to see what you do with it.

Already made a vm post and will check out owwm.
I think a resto should be done by someone who has the space and equipment to do the job right. This thing could look pretty bad *** in the right hands. Either go back to complete original or make a nice solid cabinet and do a red and black craftsman theme. Lots of possibilities here. If I do any type of resto it will be to make it look just like the picture in the catalog.

Progress has been slow on getting it cleaned up. I got a sander and jointer a couple days ago and getting those set up has been my focus. Not to mention the temp dropped 30 degrees the day after I got it so it's too cold to do much cleaning.

Once everything is cleaned and tested it will be going up for sale. I did find one missing tooth on the tilt gear but it still tilts no problem. I've seen some pics of torn out gears on these saws and at least it's not totally blown. So at least the saw has been cleaned out and drenched with pb blaster.

I think old equipment like this is fun to clean up and get working again, but I wouldn't want to try and use them for serious woodworking projects.

Over the years I have seen a lot of old equipment but I have never seen one of these before.

I picked one up for $60. Had little interest in it. Kept the drill press head and drill press table and used many of the internals for my 13" restoration. Sold the jointer. Sold some of the table saw parts. I do believe I will put the sander in service with it's own motor and switch. Sooner or later I will try to sell the stand and the 4 cross supports.
