Craftsman Premium HD 40" Top Chest

I've been watching this one for a while, hoping for a nice deal to get one as a gift... today is the day!

$570 normal price, was ~$455 for a while, and today is it $240! Ball bearing drawers, grip latch, gas strut lid, etc. Not sure if all stores have them, YMMV, etc. etc. etc.

Nice. I have one similar, but it is the Stainless Steel one they had about a year ago on closeout for about $198, that then further dropped to about $168 and I got an adjustment. Great chest.

The 41" top chest I got has full length drawers, which is very nice, because I use this chest to line up all my wrenches. I guess the only negative with this one is that it has split drawers.

The chest is heavy, over 100 pounds empty. Which means you have to lift it with one person on each end. I did find a trick to move it alone. If you remove all the drawers, it drops the weight down to about 50 pounds which is manageable to move, then just reinstall the drawers one-by-one in the final location.

I just picked mine up last night. I bought the upper and lower cabinet combination for $650!! 40 inch premium HD.. Very happy with the product!

This one routinely goes on sale for 239.**. I picked one up late last year, earlier this year...can't remember exactly when and it sits atop my HF bottom cabinet. Very nice top chest for the 239 price.

So looks like points back coupons work, but since it is a Hot Buy it is going to be hard to find actual dollar or percentage off price that work.
