I like the feel, the weight. No auto reversing issues, only smooth action. Totally satisfied. U.S.A made.

I have the 3/8 I got from Stuey. It is great! The length is between a Snap-on regular, and long. Action is butter, and the thin head is a great feature.

I just wish they made flex head ones.

enjoy! Remember that if you ever take them apart to lube them...they like a light oil not a grease

The Matco 88-tooth repair kits come with a small tube of Marvel Mystery Oil. I would expect these ratchets would want something similar.

When I got my set I lubed them with a light waterproof grease as they sounded a bit harsh-old yellow Shell stuff from Australia and the 1/4" was sticking and reversing, the others the 3/8' and 1/2" seem fine with that tho, so I cleaned out the 1/4 and re lubed it with my wifes sewing machine oil-fixed the reversing and grinding problem I had straight away, these ratchets that supposedly were four years in the design phase are a joke considering that they rely on a little spring to move freely within the pintle to operate properly, you get gunk or heavy grease in the pintle where that little pos spring goes-you got trouble, otherwise they sure look nice just sitting there, maybe a slightly heavier spring would be the go to stop the pintle slipping past the pawl and therefore locking up

I guess they don't sell the set anymore, just individually. $175 plus tax for all three:dunno:

The Sears web page is sometimes tricky to navagate as it'll show so many different things along with your search that you'll have to sift through pages of stuff to find what you typed in. The Craftsman site narrows it down a little better.

Here is a pretty decent 3 piece 60 tooth set on the Sears site for about 90.00

The premium 84 tooth 3 piece set is on the Craftsman site for about 160.00 now.

That 60 tooth set has been less than $50 in the past couple of weeks. Look at the hot deal index thread.

these ratchets that supposedly were four years in the design phase are a joke

The floating pawl design has been around for long enough that its proven. All the 60 tooth Matco/Armstrong/Craftsman/GearWrench etc.. ratchets use the exact same design, just less teeth. Honestly its a pretty idiot proof design and i let mine go for a year of use before i cleaned it and i leave mine in dirtier conditions than most im sure. It was filthy inside (black film, no actual dirt) but still functioning fine. If you want complex have you opened a dual 80? 2 Pawls on a tiny pivot point seperated by a tiny spring with an itty bitty ball bearing controling the locking of the reverse action with ANOTHER tiny spring holding that in place. Its a damn good thing Snap-On did their homework and sealed it as well as they did or it would be a nightmare.

I had a love hate relationship with the Cman premiums. Absolutely the best handles and great mid length, but the damn things kept reversing on me (1/4 and 3/8, never had a problem with the 1/2).

My garage is usually quite cold (50 would be a heat wave, more like 35-40 in winter months) and after experimenting I think I finally found the right lube. Just today I put Remoil in them, and it has made a WORLD of difference! They may just get to stay in my boxes after all! Seems that design almost wants little to no lube to work well!
