Many of you probably have already known about this, but for those who don't, this hose is worth giving it a try.
I got tired of my old cheap hose that kept kinking, with or without water pressure inside. I wash my cars in the drive way, and reel the hose on to a wall mount after I'm done, and got annoyed from having to fight the hose every time I used it.
Looking around at HD, Lowe's, Amazon, and such, even the advertised "kink-free" hoses have complains about them kinking. Then I found the Craftsman rubber hose and decided to give it a try.
For a 5/8 50 ft hose at a "sale" price of $20, it's already good value. And it seems to go on "sale" every other week or so, but what's better is it hasn't kinked on me yet. I mean you could intentionally make it kink, but it doesn't do that from my normal usage. All the hoses in stock at Home Depot are usually more expensive and but feels like lesser quality. Also, this hose is made in USA.
I just got my second one, and both times I've had to order online and pick up at a further store, since my closer one never has it. I was thinking they probably don't stock these anymore, so they might be all gone eventually.
Anyway, just want to share in case anyone is in the market for a good quality hose. I'm in California, so I don't have to worry about the hose not being flexible in freezing weather, but this hose is advertised to remain flexible under pretty low temperatures.
