guy at the local flea market sells old stock craftsman. i dont know where he gets the stuff. has 6 point combo wrenches, new single sockets and wrenches, toolboxes, etc. he does full set sae and metric pro wrenches for 60 bucks. its a 20 pc kit or around there. they are china. not putting them side by side, i would say the usa wrenches in the store may have more of a mirror polish.

5 hour is. A Pretty broad range. It could be a possibility. I've always seen usa cman but I've been reading they are going to china. Is there a difference in the metals? I dnt want to sound like a china supporter but id be helping an american guy feed his family. I passed on the wrenches when I saw the stamp.

Most of their chinese stuff is okay in my opinion. But I only pick up odds and ends when they're on clearance. Had a minor cosmetic issue with a chinese impact socket but I didn't pay a whole lot for it so...:dunno: Not that I'd pay 60 bucks for a set of chinese wrenches though; doesn't feel "right" to me, even if they got "gearwrench" stamped in them.
