Damn $70 huh? When do these things go on clearance? Did you just get lucky? I might wait for that kind of discount.

Did a search looks like some on ebay. Also I agree about the trigger, kinda flimsy. I think I'm gonna keep searching out an Aircat.

i just got lucky. they go on clearance when a new model comes out, like the one you're looking at getting. i got a CM pro 3/8 ratchet for like 70% off that way too. just gotta be in the right place at the right time, or go to sears every week.

I'd save up a few more bucks and get an IR 2135 ti max off ebay, they can be gotten for 200 ish with free ship. I bought another one last week for 200 free ship but the guy ran out of them.. I abuse my 2135 at work, cannot kill it.

Ebay is your answer. I got a NIB 2135timax on ebay for just over $200 shipped when they were still newer, the next best price I could find online was $270 with free shipping. I also only looked for 2 days, so I probably could have gotten a better deal, but I wanted it quick.

I owned a new 2135qtimax and a 2135timax, one from Sears one from an online vendor. Personally I was disappointed with them. Others have had much better experiences but not me, unless I own the hardest hitting $30 Chinese impact in the world. It takes off axle nuts and crank pulleys, and the 2135 struggled.

I won't do ebay for just this reason, I want the ability to return it if I am not happy.

Ohhh thats right I remember your story... You are still the only guy I have heard that didn't have good luck with them. Shop I work in every technician has one or two, they are amazing can't speak enough about them

Yeah I don't really want to rehash it, let sleeping dogs lie you know? It's no big deal, not sure what was up with them but many many others have good things to say.
