Craftsman Professional 7 pc. Hollow Shaft Nut Driver Set

What would be the intended purpose for these tools. My father does some electrical stuff around the house and works on the washer, dryer and refrigerator when they break down. Would these make a good present?

There was a recent thread on nut drivers. I use mine a lot. The hollow shafts are good for when the stud or bolt is longer and protrudes from the nut. Don't know if he's use them with electrical or washer/dryer stuff.

I use mine all the time for little things around the house - when a socket set is overkill.
