Does anyone have any experience with the Craftsman Professional Grip Driver (47473) Ratcheting Screwdriver? I was thinking of buying it from harry epstein. Is it worth buying for $15+$8 shipping?

I have one but don't really use it. I don't care for the feel of the handle when it is in the straight position. The action is pretty coarse (like only 12 teeth) and no bit storage in the handle. The build quality seems solid which is unsurprising since it is German made (by Schroeder) but I would still pass.

I have two. One I bought new at Sears when it came out. That one looks like the above, but with a black ratchet selector ring (red was later). The other was a buck at a flea market and has a bit storage handle. Green ones are Schroeder branded.

As MAD pointed out, the ratchet mechanism is very rough. I bought mine to get more torque, and the thumb slot does help, but I haven't touched either in years. Nowadays I'll either use my cordless or hammer impacts where I'd have used this before.
