This seems like a nice deal on a set of slotted screwdrivers. I don't have much use for slotted, so I figured I would put it up here:

On the other hand, I inherited a brand-new set of these and have been using them the past year or so and find them to be good screw drivers. Mine are USA-made. They are worth $14 for sure even if it is regular price.

Not regular price. On clearance they range from 5.99-8.99 $ per single. Its a good deal. I paid much more for my set a while back

It's been this price for several months. I actually think it's gone on sale from this price another dollar or two off.

I think of more of a price mistake than anything. It's not coded as clearance or sale at Sears. I think they're just trying to clear inventory.

I bought the same set for the same price 6 months ago. Seem to go in and out of stock as they find old stock. That said, like others, 1 set of these slotted is enough for a lifetime. I mean I only use them as pry bars anyways

It is a good deal if for no other reason you don't have to deal with the guys gouging on eBay for the larger Professional slotted drivers.

I'd have to look again, but when I bought the set last year, they were still listed in the Industrial catalog even though they've been gone from stores for 7-8 months now.
