Craftsman professional wrenches

Anyone know where I can purchase craftsman professional wrenches stamped with the "K"? I have almost a complete set, but am missing a few. Most of the eBay sellers do not have pictures of the "professional" side of the wrenches when posting pictures. I have also looked at multiple Sears stores, however these where early run productions from what I understand. I know I can also just purchase new SK wrenches, but it was my first set of wrenches I ever bought, and I guess I have a little OCD, and want the set to match. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

What sizes do you need? Is used OK? I have some stashed away somewhere.

Used is absolutely fine, as mine are nowhere near perfect. I am looking for 11/32, 13/16 & 7/8. Additionally, anything larger than 15mm would be a bonus, as my set of metric is limited to 15mm. Again, thank you in advance for checking!

When I assembled my set I put them together with just the 1/16th sizes. Mine run from 1/4" to 1-1/8" in size with a made in USA Craftsman 15 pouch tool roll.

What is the difference with the K models? I bought a 19mm years ago that is fantastic made me want to buy the whole set. I thought is was nearly as good as my old flank drives.

They where made by sk, offered in two versions over the years, one being a raised panel type vs the newer one's that where pretty much armstrong wrenches. You can tell them apart buy looking at the box end, the older sk made one's get wider at the box end. I think the Armstrong style replaced them some time in the early 2000's so your not going to have much luck finding them new.

Here is the one I have I bought it early 2000's. I noticed the model numbers transferred over to the newest Chinese Professional full polish versions. I bet they keep the same model numbers on things just for warranty replacement. Saves arguments in the store I guess, the warranty customer leaves with the same model number and it looks the same.

you can bet half those ebay sellers are buying the cheap china kits and abusing the warranty to get the usa versions. Every time I've ordered a single wrench using points from the website I got a usa Armstong style wrenches, That's how I made my sets, No way I would pay what they go for on ebay. I did find one "k" style 11mm in a hardware store last year though. Now even the loose one's on the racks in stores by me are china so I guess sears caught on or supply is drying up. Used to be if they had loose pro wrenches in the store they where all USA and all the kits where the lobster claw china versions

i don't think those "raised" were made by sk. it looks like it has an L code in the link posted. at one time sk made craftsman professional in short, standard and long versions. the long being the longest running while the short and standard length only lasted a year or so. the standard length disappeared altogether, the short replaced with a raised type like posted above and the long eventually replaced with the armstrong version.

I have a metric and SAE set of the "raised panel" polish pro wrenches. Mine have a K on them. The set only went up to 18mm and if you wanted a 19mm you got a regular SK wrench. I personally like them. They are very comfortable, but they were only made for 2 years, I bought them in 99. In 2001 I believe they switched to danaher and the RP and SK style were both made by SK. I have since bought the 19-24 danaher versions to have a complete 7-24mm set (20mm is CMan industrial).

I don't think sk ever made a "raised" stubby, the Danaher / Armstrong versions where and still are. The china line isn't though.

Jrob is right though the "raised" sk only came in sets. I think it was only offered in 7pc and 12pc sets. 18mm and 15/16" where the largest sizes offered in the 12pc set. They also had there own part numbers that didn't cross over to the other professional wrenches.

My set of "raised" professionals is from 1998 and is most definitely an SK product. Theyre not so much "raised panel" as they are "thick beamed", not too different in the hand than the current Williams supercombos. If only they had an ASD type open end, theyd be a top tier wrench. I like them a lot.

People either love the raised pros or hate them. They are hard to find a holder that works for them because they're so thick. But they are not common since they were only around for a few years. I believe the fractional set was 1/4"- 1" but I know metric was 7mm to 18mm.

I only have maby 5 of these wrenches but they fell the best in my hand over all other options I have
