I've got those, and they're good tools. I'm not much of a fan of CM, but these do the job as well as any, and the price is reasonable. They're USA made by Wilde. They go on sale for $19.99 occasionally, usually about Black Friday time, and sometime in the spring.

I have the red handled set without the strike caps and they are GTG. I thought bother were manufactured by the same supplier.

Our grinder department at work has the same set of prybars. They are a great set, epsecially for the money. Never had any problems while using them. Our setup department uses the larger sized Mayhew dominators, which I have in the garage also. For prybars, Wilde and Mayhew do it best in my opinion. IMG_20171016_151229.jpg

The red handle with strike cap, and older red handle w/o strike cap Craftsman prybars are Wilde.

The red/black handle Craftsman Pro prybars are Mayhew. I believe these are discontinued.

As others have said, the current batch of striking pry bars are solid, well made pry bars, that you can't beat for the price especially on sale.
Every once in a while, Sears even offers the 36 inch long version on sale for a song. What are you waiting for? Go get them:thumbup:

I agree with the others, great prybars, just wait until the drop back down to $20.

One of the few remaining gems left at Sears. I've used those extensively. They work great.

This. I have the older ones without the striking cap. Sometimes you gotta strike 'em to get the job done. No ill effects. Worth every penny.

I have all of the Craftsman Pry Bar with Strike Cap (12, 17, 25, 31 and 36 Inch) and all of the Craftsman Professional Pry Bar with Strike Cap (8, 12, 17, 25, and 31 Inch). Believe it or not I have less than $75 in them using points and waiting for them to go one sale. It took me about four months to buy them all. Get the Professional while you can, I have been told that they have been discontinued.

Outstanding set especially when you catch them On sale at $20. If you can wait until Father’s Day time you can catch them then.

If you watch the sears Hot Deals and Daily deals they may show up too Ali g with the larger pry bars.

I have the same 4 and have used them quite a bit for several years now. Not a single complaint. I don't think they can be beat for the money.

You might be able to still find the craftsman pros. I got a set of 3 about 2 months ago for $39 at sears.

I only have the big boy 36" of the red handled strike cap type and it's great. I like it much better than the older red handles (which I sold), but not as much as the CM Pro bars (which I've still been using almost daily for good number of years now).

I believe the current matte red handles with strike caps are Mayhew and the gloss non-strike handles are Wilde. I have both-ALL good bars. Definitely worth the sale prices.

The red ones with the strike cap are really good and for $27 I'll take them without hesitation. Screenshot_20180415-005604.jpg

I have that set as well. I think I paid less than $20 for the set. Very well made and have been very handy at times. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I have the older set and I've beat the heck out of them. I'm going to go buy the newer style tomorrow, might as well get a couple more craftsman peices before you no longer can.

i may head that way today, apparently some tax day event, extra 10% off, so the 3 piece would be $26.99

Broke a handle on a el cheapo prybar yesterday, So looking into replacing them. Came across these Craftsman prybars, decently priced, and have strike caps which is a big plus. Anyone have any opinion on these, are they worth the money?

Also needing a longer one for suspention work, so thinking about this one

Very good prybars made by Wilde. In actual Sears stores you may find the black and red "Craftsman professional" prybar set made by Mayhew which are, in my opinion, a tad better.

For the record, Wilde drops their pants amd supplies those prybars to a great variety of retailers so you can alternatively find additional sizes on hje,

And singles in Walmart stores branded as "Hyper Tough"

Those prybars are one of the few remaining Craftsman items I would be willing to buy - Made in USA and P coded (sourced from Wilde). I've got both the Craftsman hard handled striking ones and the Mayhew Dominators and the Craftsman ones seem to flex a tad more, but for the money they are hard to beat. They are dirt cheap compared to the next cheapest option. Get them.

The thick round ones? Same shape as the screw drivers?
