Not sure if this is the proper place, but I need some information on a Craftsman Radial Arm Saw. I purchased an electronic radial arm saw at a neighborhood estate sale. A neighbor said that the PO bought the saw and only used it to build two gates and then covered it in a tarp and stored it in his garage.
It appears to be a nice, well equipped saw, but I haven't been able to find an operators manual. The model number is 113, 190600.
I have been able to get it to move up and down with the electronic controls, and the display lights up, but I get nothing by pushing any of the control buttons.
I would like to find an owners manual, but baring that would appreciate it if someone could give me some guidance on how to make changes to the setup. My e-mail is: [email protected] if anyone is willing and able to help me out.

Look on line, owners manuals can be downloaded for free. The owners manual has the correct set up procedure so its best to start with that.

So your saw is covered by the Emerson recall. If it has not already had it, they will ship you a new blade guard and table to retrofit to your saw. Or if they don't have one, they will offer $100 for the motor to render the saw unfit for use.

Here is a link to the manual, which happens to be hosted by the company also doing the recall.

Cruzan80: Thank you so very much. Guess I haven't been looking in the right place. I'll check on the recall/safety upgrade. My old, old Craftsman RAS also had a recall, but I couldn't replace the saw for $100, so I continued to use it. Never had a problem. Thanks again.
