These sets are all USA-made Craftsman Professional wrenches:
18 piece basic http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00934273000P?sid=I0084400010000100600&aff=Y
10 piece large http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00934274000P?prdNo=4&pickup=true&blockNo=4&blockType=G4
12 piece deep offset http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00946999000P

The website lists them as full polish, but those 3 sets are all still USA-made Cman Pros for now.

These sets are the last of old stock. Claiming they are still made based on that is like saying Pepsi still makes Crystal pepsi cause you can still buy it

Used RP's many years because that's what I had. Got a set of USA made Pros on sale when the local Sears Hardware went belly up. Use both, don't really care which one I grab as long as it loosens/tightens the fastener I'm working on.

He was claiming that they were USA made pro's still in stock, not still made in the US.

Besides, when did you get the insider job working for sears?

Lol...no insider info here...just wagering my best guess. It seems the pros have been discontinued, replaced by the chinese made "High Polished", and the last of the pros are being discounted and closed out. My local Sears mgr. said the pros are not being replaced with more pros but the foreign made replacement.

Did he mention anything about the module sets being replaced with anything? Because their packaging was never labeled "pro" and they are never stored in the wrench isle, so it seems.

No...i wasn't aware they were packaged any differently. I just assumed they were just different size sets of the same pros. I hope im wrong and i honestly hope they continure to make them in the U.S. Im a bit of Craftsman fan myself and wish nothing for the best from the brand

I guess thats what i get for assuming though!

I managed to bend a 12mm RP. I had the box end on the opened end of another wrench and was using it as a cheater. I was standing on it pretty hard and noticed later it has a slight increase in the offset of the box end. Sears didn't even blink. Just gave me a new one. Can't compare to the Pro as I only have the RP but they have rebuild many two wheeled machines for me. Hard to beat an initial cost of under $20.

12 MM 12 Pt maybe? Ford driveshaft bolts perhaps?

I killed a good Mac Extra - Long wrench doing that last year.

I have now! Sure beats the 12 PT 12 MM extra long Snap On 1/2" drive deep that I have been using.

I'll toss in a B.I.N. by the end of the week

I've used the cman pro's once, they were nice BUT, not nice enough for a Weekend warrior/DIY'er/Student to shell out the few bucks more. I actually just recently picked up 18 RP combo wrenches--9 SAE; 9 metric-- for <$30 and it was well worth it. But for occassional to moderate use, RP beat out in price and it (the new ones anyway) have a flat(ish) edge from the CNC milling so it's smooth and makes it nice to push, pull, and turn those wrenches.
