Craftsman Random Orbital Sander- Anyone got one?

More specifically, the 3 amp model. Picked one up for $6 and it seems nice, although the pressure indicator is pretty gimmicky.

What are your guys' experiences with the dust box? I'm used to the canister like filter but the price was right.

Picked one up about 6 months ago the canister is a little gimmicky but seems to work pretty well. Using it on some tool box restorations that i have going on at the moment. Hope this helps.

Glad to hear you like it. I'll have to find something to use it on that I normally wouldn't.

yea I got one for years..... their first gen ones, dust box is long gone. Gimicky , works but dust kept stick into the crevasse and it is a PITA to empty completely....

I have the 6" Ridgid one also.... bought a 5" replacement kit... because the 5" sanding disc are more popular. That Ridgid is about 10x better.
