That's good to know as I'm looking to buy one.:bounce: A fellow motorhead posted it on another site and I've decided I HAVE to have one. If someone is selling one, hit me up..............

Ya know it is interesting, it seems some of those Crafty speeders had blue handles, and others had black handles.

Actually UB I think they're all blue but they look black in the pics, the blue gets really dark with age and use, mine looks black but its actually blue but you have to look really close.

The first time I ever saw one was at the Webster swap meet in Floriduh. The guy had several tables full of tools, and that one was on the ratchet pile. I picked up a bunch of different tools--sockets, extensions, Vise grips, C-clamps--and that ratchet. Went up to pay, and said "How much for the ratchet." The guy looks at me and says "Oh, that's not for sale."
????
"What do you mean 'it's not for sale'?"
"I just put it out there, but it's not for sale."
"Oh. I thought this was a swap meet, where people brought stuff they wanted to sell. Guess not." I set down my pile of tools and walked away.

Nothing pisses me off more than some tool bringing something to a swap meet and then saying "Oh, it's not for sale." THEN LEAVE IT HOME!

Since then, I've seen them on ebay, and as others have said, the prices border on loony. I can't see spending that much money on a conversation piece for the tool box. It's interesting, but I really can't see a situation where I would use it. Maybe there are a couple of practical applications, but certainly not enough to justify spending a Franklin or more on one.
