Hi All, I could use your help. I have an old Craftsman thumbwheel 1/4 ratchet. THe ratchet is great but the retaining spring is bad and needs replacement. Can someone tell me where I can find one or the proper name for the little wire spring like retaining ring? Thank you in advance for your help.

Need part number like everyone said. Theres at least 2 totally different styles of craftsman thumbwheels made in 80's and 90's at least. RHFT style, best ever, and shiny chrome round handle. Pretty sure both kits are nla from craftsman, but some still around on ebay. Whenever i have one thats not worth fixing, i keep all the spare good parts too. Show a pic or 2 and ill bet we can fund you somethin
