I have two unknown era craftsman ratchet with a brass looking selector/release. I know the two black selector/quick release ones are late 90s era but in my quick google search I only see the black style and the plated metal style on v series . These two others almost look like the selector is brass colored . Any of y’all know the era?

I don’t think they’re that old.

What's on the other side of those ratchets than you showed in any of your images might help you better to identify when they were made and which manufacturer made them. For example, you mentioned V but there are -V- and =V= and VΛ etc.

From top to bottom they appear to be a 444811-standard ratchet, a 44808-long ratchet, and the other 2 are 44809 1/2" drive ratchets.
