The reason why I ask you can use the rebuild kits in usa kobalt ratchets.

Maybe the danaher ratchets which are basically the same kobalt to craftsman with a slightly less hammer-able handle on the kobalt.

The thing is...the kits are probably more expensive than just buying a new ratchet (if you mean the craftsman bar type). I see them on ebay from time to time maybe around 7-10 bucks a pop. I honestly don't know of anyone that uses them enough to have to rebuild them.

Lots of better ratchets in that price range and slightly more. I know we all get attached to certain things especially if you started out with them but when it breaks it's time to let go.

I know what you mean.
I have a tool set in the plastic case and they don't make a replacement ratchet that will
Fit the box.

Wish someone made a fine-tooth kit for the Craftsman ratchets. Then it would make sense to rebuild them with new guts.

I got mine off of eBay. There are guys out there that specialize in this sort of thing and can help you I.D. the kits you need.
