Craftsman Ratchet rebuild

I just got this ratchet too, the 23809.

Would anybody be willing to help me put it together? I dismantled it in order to grease it but no matter which way i put it back together it wont function properly. TIA

Thank you, i searched and only got two hits!!!!!!!!

Adding grease sure does make ratchets less noisy and clacky sounding. I claim to do it for the rust-proofing though.

Look at MADs link for pics, but the pic didnt help it was the explanation that did.


For your help, try these out if you can find....they are great for cleaning anything but paint, which is not bad just leaves a film behind. Clean underhood or your tools. I used one on my mailbox and it looks good.
