Craftsman Ratchet year

What year about is this Craftsman Ratchet from?
pictures stolen/borrowed from ebay, I don't have mine handy, I have this one in 1/2" drive, just wondering the approximate year.

wow that's pretty old.
I got mine for $10.00 I brought it right away. It was in pretty good shape too.

The set of Craftsman tools my father bought for himself back in 1948 has those same type of ratchets in 1/4, 3/8/ and 1/2 inch sizes.

I know he bought the kit in 1948 because he still had the original owners manual and content papers in the toolbox they all came in, along with the original receipt of how much it cost and the date he bought it.

I have similar with a oil hole in the top of the head.

Is there anybody still making repair kits for this style?
