Just bought an 8 piece set of SAE non ratcheting craftsman wrenches.
I no longer have much of a need for SAE wrenches but I was doing front shocks on a jeep cherokee sport and I could have used a set of ratcheting SAE wrenches. I bought them for $35.97 on clearance and I'll use them next time they are needed but Does anyone have any input on these specific type of wrenches?

similar to Sears Item# 00942452000 or Model# 42452

You said you bought non-ratcheting, but your attachment shows ratcheting. :headscrat

I suppose there is a situation for any kind of wrench. I went with GW flex ratcheting wrenches so I could have the angle if I needed it.

I have metric and SAE sets of these wrenches. They are very nice. Similar to the flat GearWrench version, but long pattern and US made, which are pluses in my book. They definitely have their place in my box and have served me well over the past few years. That's a good price on them.

I have metric and SAE. I like mine. They closed out the metric box version. :-(

The combo wrenches didn't come in 17 or 19.

EDIT: Nevermind. I thought he was talking about the standard ones.

I have the craftsman ratcheting flex head wrenches in metric and they have paid for themselves in less than three months time. But the above wrenches I bought cause I ran into a situation where I needed ratcheting SAE wrenches and after the fact I found them for a low price.

I like the gearwrench ones more. Craftsman seem to be large toothed whereas the Gearwrench are fine tooth ratchet. Saves me alot of hassle in tight spots.

You're thinking of C-Man's heavy duty raised panel 30 tooth style. He bought the 72 tooth ones, which is the same tooth count as Gearwrench.
