i like the individual pliers better. however if you are on a budget and dont use them often these are a good alternative.

Of course JUST bought the exact same channelock version for DOUBLE. Oh well, I needed them for a 12" snap ring. And they worked great and bought local. Would do it again if needed. Sears can pound it.

I got tired of breaking the pieces and got the Lang set. So glad I did.

Not a bad tool for the $15 sale price. USA made makes it an even more attractive deal.

The only problem I've had with them is the black handles tend to slide off.

I was thinking to slide the handles off and put a couple drops of super glue on the handles, and quickly slide the black handle covers back on.

I'm thinking the OE for them is Channellock, can anyone confirm? If so, fifteen bucks is a steal.

Lang is A&E who is surely a Sears OEM. I forgot what their vendor code was though...

I like that logo, Tellingthem. I'm going to assume you have (or are a fan of) the Pontiac Trans Am? (I have two).

In for a pair. Only $10 after some surprise points, couldn't pass it up as a just in case. Don't use them often but invaluable when you need them.

Ahh ok. Always another company at the head.

Thanks. From a 75 owners manual. I always loved Pontiacs. My dad used to work for them. Grandpa loved them. Just in the blood I guess. I don't own any but will someday. Want an old chieftain or, super chief.

bought em on sale a couple years ago

They are very nice for the $$$, 100x better than the HF ones

they don't flex or twist at all on stiff snap rings
