I have a Craftsman roller bottom its the homeowners line with two drawers and a pull up door at the bottom. I replaced it with a different bottom with more room and was considering selling it but though it might still be use full for something in the shop. So I was wonder how you guys have used roller bottoms for other then just tool storage?

If it wasn't the homeowners series, I'd say it was worth saving. But those are so light they can't really support the weight of say, a drill press. You could put a mini fridge on it.

I agree with the statement above about the limitations of the homeowner's models.
I have one of the short versions (5 drawer) that I use as a base for my portable DeWalt planer. It works great for rolling to the dust collector and is heavy enough and the right height for passing boards. Easy to keep the planer out of the way when not in use
