I have only 1 of thoes screwdrivers. It was my fathers, and honestly, its still one of my favorites. Even though it has the chrome phillips tip, it has NEVER ONCE sliped off a screw. Its still as sharp as the day it was forged, and it sits alongside my Snap On Drivers ... oh, and if you price out the Snap On Drivers per unit, they come out less expensive then the Craftsman Pro's. That is one of the reasons I chose Snap On Comfort Grips over the Craftsman units. That, and all the problems you guys are having with the Craftsman units was not un-heard of at that time. So far, many rpm of use and no problems with the Snap On.

i paid 29.99 for a 10pc craftsman professional set. without even checking, i'm going to say you cant get 10 snap on screwdrivers for that price.

I agree, I remember buying my first Crafty sdrivers 20 some years ago, they had a rancid smell then, and they probably still do today!!

I am amazed. I have had C'man screwdrivers and even Xcelites since Moby **** was a minnow. Nary a stench that I can smell.

Yet, if I am near an open box of Tide detergent or - God forbid - one of those "plug it in" air fresheners, I damn near lapse into a coma.

I must be olfactorly impaired, or something. Bring on the Limburger...Hell, make it two!!

I agree. All my cman's smell like the bottom of a litter box and have for 25+ years now. That being said, I would rather park one on my upper lip than be near one of those plug in things!

I have never had much luck with Craftsman screwdrivers. I use Stanleys and they seem to hold up better! For what thats worth.

I actually only use both Craftsman and Stanley screwdrivers. They both hold up well when used properly. They sure hold up better than Kliens.
