What about Snap-On or another recommended company? I will be looking to buy a set soon but to be honest I doubt I pay Snap-On prices. Maybe a decent used set or something? I currently own all C-man tools and have always been a C-man myself.

LOL... no reason really. They don't sell a complete set (I don't think anyway). I was just curious if Craftsman carried anything like that in a set. I have always used Craftsman tools and like them. However, I have never been into tools as much as you guys around here...

You are all rubbing off on me though...

I think a set would be pretty extensive to cover all the necessary thread and diameter combiinations... extensive = expensive. You mentioned that these are commonly used to remove the generator fly wheel on street bikes, what bikes (make model) do you need these for?

I would bet every dime I own (and that ain't much!) that Sears has never offered such an animal. I have all but memorized each catalog for many years and I have never seen anything that resembled that. The closest thing they might have offered that comes to mind through the years would be the Lisle alternator/Power Steering Pump pulley remover/installer and I know 100% that is not the same thing, it just kinda looks like that.

Truck or other specialized vender to be sure.

That is cool. I bought a couple from Motion Pro and one of them busted while trying to remove a generator from a 75 CB750 that had set outside for almost 20 years. Sometimes these old bikes have seen the worst conditions and no matter how good a toold is it will break it. I cannot tell you how many eaxy out sets I have gone through over the years...lol

It was worth the time to ask the question to me... It would be great if I would have found a nice Craftsman set to go along with all of my other tools...:)
