I put the Harvor Freight one on my Craftsman box and couldn't be happier. For the price the quality was drastically better than comparable craftsman side boxes ImageUploadedByTapatalk1446590641.653215.jpg

I've been looking for a craftsman side cab for some extra storage space. The only used one I could find was some no-name unit... $100 not bad but it also wasn't the proper size. Starting price for a new unit through sears is is $250. Anyone got any tips for me?

These come up on CL and Ebay now and then....how about Sears Outlet? It might be a dent/scratch though. Not sure if that bothers you.

Why not just buy another box? At Sears you can get a 3 drawer bottom for $100 I think, with the top box it's $180 I think. I got one a few years ago for $250. Not great boxes but they hold your tools.you'll have more space than the side box.

Actually I realized what I am looking for is a side LOCKER or locker/cabinet so I can store containers and irregular items. This one goes for $160 with free shipping, just wonder if its junk

HF has a end cabinet for 199 that is sturdy and possibly adaptable to your current box. and should easily store your containers or stuff

I'm not sure I got my point across. I meant buying a cheap box to supplement your current box, not replace it.

If you're not stuck on Craftsman too much I've seen a few side boxes on Craigslist for fairly cheap in my area. It just takes a little time and luck.

I have 2 Harbor Freight side boxes and they are very nice. They are very nice boxes for the money.
