After recently buying a pair of Redback boots. I have found the need for a thicker winter sock.

Took a trip to the local sears today to see what wool socks were available. At first glance I saw Craftsman branded socks. Huh alright. Upon closer viewing they are Made in USA and carry a full 2 year warranty.

Yeah you heard right, 2 year warranty on SOCKS.

Kind of odd, but they felt like a quality product and picked up 2 pairs of Merino Wool and regular wool socks. These socks rock, plenty thick and comfy.

Has anyone seen these? 97b67948018666a72a4c6d439a6bfe72.jpg

Guessing they are going to hold up. That type of wool sock usually has a longer then expected warranty with them. I haven't used any enough to find out exactly how long they do indeed last though. They aren't too warm which I like.

What is the wool content in them? The best wool socks I've found for value are 75% wool and come in a 3 pack at SAMs clubs for like $15.

Snapon socks are also great for work socks.

All the differnt styles of Craftsman socks hold up well and should last more than 2 years under normal use.

That's all I wear. The black for work , white for running shoes and the various thermal socks for the winter boots.

I got a bunch of the black ones and they have been great. (Link) Been wearing them for awhile now no holes or tears. Also got a bunch of Carhartt socks from Sears when they were on sale. Figured i'd rotate them in when the craftsman start wearing out. They are also USA made. I just got some Wolverine socks from Tractor Supply on clearance. They were also USA surprisingly enough. They all seem to be similar so maybe the same manufacturer. But either way always nice to have some USA made goods.

Seem nice, might buy a pair if I get any more points. I have one of the craftsman flannel hoodies I got for $4 after points a while ago, pretty nice for the price.
