Saw a post about how much these were selling for the other day and remembered I had one from my Granddad's tools he left me. Hafta say I was pretty happy when I found it today. Wouldn't ever sell it just cool to know I have it HAHA.

Awesome. I have my Grand dads old SK socket set he used every day. Probably not worth much, but it is to me. Like you, I would never sell it.

Just realized I have one of those CM spinner ratchets. I see one on ebay is over $200. Guess where mine's going.

Given what the old spinner ratchets are selling for on ebay, they're like the holy grail of ratchets, though I'm not sure where a guy would ever use one.

Man, even 5 years ago, those things were all over eBay for pennies, and I didn't buy one.

Now that I really want one for the collection? Yeah, people are paying $200+ for them:

I mean, I can remember when I saw 10+ of them on eBay for $15-$30.

Doubtful.

I'd bet that you could dump 10 of these on eBay today, and they wouldn't sell for nearly as much as that one above.

The current listing scarcity is contributing to the pricing.

Sure is a cool looking tool. Not sure I could manufacture a reason for using one, yet I certainly wouldn't mind having one in my box.

Kind of expensive for a window crank, Selling on ebay for 1 to 2 hundred dollars.
